Take the train from Gdynia Głowny station. This crawls through villages and towns before reaching the 32km Hel Peninsula. I was beguiled by the amusing name and the interesting look of it on the map. However, your 90 minute crowded train journey may result in...More

Hel peninsula is a lovely place to visit especially off season (May or September). Great walks along the beautiful beaches. We saw many young families so good place to come with kids as well.

It is beautiful small and narrow island, some 2 and a half hours boat ride from Gdansk. Sandy beaches, beautiful greenery, small cafes and restaurants, lighthouse, open museums, picturesque little houses with flowers around... Really nice place to visit on a summer day.

Visited the place for a weekend with my wife. Amazing place with loads of food options, water sports and lovely beach. Very nice sand beach with plenty of Jelly Fishes. One can easily find live Jelly Fish. Amazing place for families, kids and couples.

Hel is a charming place with a long beach and quiet windy. It was nice to get away from typical touristically places like Gdansk and Sopot. Hel is still a touristic place but more from domestic tourists. It was long drive to get there. Especially...More
