Whilst the boating price from where I was staying (Sopot) to Hel was pricy I'd say that it was worth it. Provided the weather is good the trip will be enjoyable. Around Hel are many restaurants and cafes, as well as a seal sanctuary. This...More

It is beautiful small and narrow island, some 2 and a half hours boat ride from Gdansk. Sandy beaches, beautiful greenery, small cafes and restaurants, lighthouse, open museums, picturesque little houses with flowers around... Really nice place to visit on a summer day.

Visited the place for a weekend with my wife. Amazing place with loads of food options, water sports and lovely beach. Very nice sand beach with plenty of Jelly Fishes. One can easily find live Jelly Fish. Amazing place for families, kids and couples.

I discovered this place on the internet and the description as "the thinnest peninsula in the world" made me think about some unforgettable place to visit. Unfortunately it wasn't nothing special at all. You can reach this place both by train or by boat and...More

We took the 11 o'clock ferry from Sopot pier and arrived in Hel at 12:15 after a crossing on a very calm Baltic. The town is fantastic with many small shops for souvenirs, bars and restaurants. We followed the trail through the forest to the...More
