The cathedral is known as the Big Red Church - however, not a long time ago it was repainted and it is 'white coffee' colour now. The Jesus Christ statue high up on the outside is quite impressive.

Cathedral was significantly renovated in 2014/15. After the renovation it changed colors and currently looks very bright and sunny. Well renovated cathedral in beige and yellow. Dark brown wooden ceilings: beautiful. A late 19th century building Ostrava can be proud of.

Beautiful and large cathedral in Ostrava. It was recently renovated. I normally love old historic cathedrals but even though it was renovated, it was still very impressive.
