This gallery is a hidden gem. We travelled to Olomouc especially to see the Years of Disarray exhibition and were not disappointed. Really interesting to learn that cubism was not just Picasso and Braques. The permanent collection was also great, especially the giant Vasarely 3D...More

I went here for a particular exhibition of Andy Warhol, which was for just one month but the museum seemed really nice and the employees are incredibly nice.

From Salvador Dali to Andy Warhol, this museum is world class and beautifully laid out. Unlike some dusty old museum, there is a constant traffic of Art and events. I have spent many wonderful hours here poring over the permanent and visiting collections.

The building itself is both interesting and impressive. The top floor exhibition (an overview of 20th century art) was good and very interesting, while we were less impressed by the rest that was on show at the moment

The museum of modern art is the nicest museum in Olomouc. The nice staff is very friendly and willing to help around (even with limited English). The museum has a nice collection, although their set-up is quite unconventional. Don't miss the second building near the...More

It all depends if you lean more towards Tate Britain or Tate Modern I suppose, but this Museum of Modern Art houses the biggest collection of utterly depressing art I have ever seen collected in one place. The special exhibition of angelic paintings was quite...More

The large gallery containing the main permanent exhibit was inexplicably closed the day I was there. Another large gallery exhibited drawings, designs and illustrations mostly from mid-20th century. I found the work interesting, but rather dry and it needed better curation because it was rather...More

Visited as part of the ticket price for the Archdiocese museum. It had an exhibition by famous Czech sculptor Zbyněk Sekal. Other than that only two other rooms with some furniture, plastics, ceramics and record sleeves, posters reflecting 1960's design. The upper floor photograph exhibition...More
