Much smaller than others we have visited but still worth the stop. Friendly staff and useful information sheet and boards.

It's much smaller than thought. Information given in English cost was 120 local currency. Was OK, which took about 15 minutes to walk round. Was expecting more.

Only worth it if you like looking at corpses. Total waste of time. All of the explanations are in Czech . Don't waste your time

small admission fee, a little hard to find; interesting history and interesting relics. I would definitely recommend this. Could be a little creepy for young kids what with a good number of dessicated mummies in crypts.

This monastery preserved the bodies of monks and benefactors in a way that turned them into mummies. Now you can see the mummified bodies and learn a bit about their lives. But be aware you will see a lot of dead bodies, and they should be treated with respect. It is certainly a sobering experience.

In my opinion this is a very interesting Place. The church is very beautiful with baroque interior. When you pay (80 CZK) you can visit the crypt.
When you enter the Crypt you see many Mummies. Some visitors maybe interested, other Visitors are expelled.
I belong to the First ones. To see the Mummies, that had once been Humans 200 yrs. ago is quite fascinating.
It reminds you, that every Human ist evanescent.

– but we do because of a presentation that feeds curiosity without hurting dignity. Unlike other crypts of that type/order – dusty, poorly lit, ill preserved – here you get the feeling “them are well taken care”. - The history of Trenk is pretty interesting too.

Interesting to visit, provides nice background about the Capuchin and the entrance fee is pretty affordable.

Myself and my boyfriend visited here today. It does not take very long to get round at all. There are roughly 4 rooms with various corpses in them. It's okay to waste 20 mins but don't rush to go there if you have other things to do. The ticket cost 80czk which is roughly £1.70.

Well documented in several languages, interesting historical facts and anecdotes in a very respectful and sobering setting.
