Hey, it’s a cemetery, what do you expect? Gravesites used for over 600 years. Walk through history. Interesting, but not necessary to spend a lot of time here.

I visited this place and was aided by a guide. They described the layout well, explained the reasoning behind the layout and aided me through the museum well explaining some of the pictures meanings.

An immense amount of graves, the dates on the headstones give you an idea of the ages of people who were killed, so many young people. The big granite stones cover the mass graves where thousands of remains are buried.

If you travel alone, you can visit this cemetery by foot. Its juts 10 minutes from city center of Terezin.

Another moving expirience in Terezin out of the town walls befor the enterance to the city. One of the places you should visit.

There are 2 cemeteries in the area. One big with both Jewish and Christian graves and Mass graves and one smaller located close to the crematorium that was build by forced Jewish Labour during the war.

Located just outside the town ghetto, is the Jewish Cemetery and Crematorium the permanent exhibit of mortality and burials in the Terrain Ghetto is north going the time to view.

The cemetery is next to a small crematorium which leaves one without the vocabulary to express all the emotions of viewing the landscape of waste, truly innocent lives. A must see and feel experience.
