A fantastic example of cubist architecture. With fine interiors and stairwell. With a fine museum upstairs. And probably the best coffee and cake selection in town.

We stopped by just to appreciate the architecture and the cool staircase. Take a look up the center of the staircase, or climb the staircase and look straight down.

The building has an impressive appearance, worth seeing. The cafe on the second floor offers a gorgeous view of the plaza. They have a great selection of various deserts and coffee drinks. However, service is mediocre and not very friendly. The vegetarian sandwich took about...More

Amazing building. Everything designed according to the Cubist style. From chandeliers in the cafe on the ground floor, to the restaurant on top and exhibition of the Cubist furniture. The staircase is amazing, but -- which is very important -- there was made extensive work...More

The House of the Black Madonna is a novel diversion from the museums of early Prague history. The exhibition presented Czech cubism as a style that is uniquely Czech and I got a sense of pride and exclusiveness in the work of the noted designers...More

We went there to try the fancy cakes that caught our eyes in the window. It was a huge disappointment. The service was extremely unorganized. There were like 10 people waiting in the door in that tiny place, waiter should instruct people to wait outside...More

Super selection of fancy cakes, tasty coffee (although could be hotter) and a refreshing strawberry iced tea! Would recommend for a pit stop after sightseeing!

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
