Established in 2004 Tynska Bar and Books was the first overseas Bar and Books enterprise. The Czech Republic had just become a member of the European Union and its capital Prague is well known as one of the most beautiful European cities, rivaling Paris, London and Rome. Located in the heart of Prague, just steps away from the Old Town Square, perfectly hidden in a small cobblestone street with a spectacular view of the Tyn Church. Tynska Bar and Books is proof of how sophisticated Prague has become.

I love the atmosphere here! Posh kinda mysterious vibes (and books duh). Kinda on the expensive side but I really enjoyed it anyways (and there was a nice guitar/singer combo- although maybe just a little too loud for comfortable conversations).

Being a frequent visitor to this particular establishment, tonights experience has been nothing short of horrendous. Wrong drinks orders and lack of customer services. Whilst it is only a Monday night tonights experience has altered my opinion on ever returning.More

This cocktail bar was everything we expected. The prices were fantastic for the standard of drinks and service we received. The young guy behind the bar is a very experienced mixologist and really made the experience for us. We will be returning when we visit...More

We visited the bar twice during our 3-day trip and were thrilled by the experience in every imaginable way. Location and Athmosphere: Unique and sophisticated, with the theme of the 1920s-30s being consequently applied both to the noble furniture, the authentic Jazz music and to...More
