I suppose taking in a concert or seeing the art museum would make this a better stop. We ran out of time. What is interesting to us is the Stalinesque construction for the interior.

Lots of doors, but most of them are locked. Someone could have spent a bit of money to put signs at street level, in multiple languages, so tourists could find the place. Once found, it wasn’t worth the effort. I was looking for tourism information,...More

Prague is a very touristy city, and I feel I’ve had to work to find more authentic experiences. One of the first things I did was head to the Municipal House, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a spectacular building-but there’s far more to...More

This beautiful building is the place for concerts, fine dining - much better value, cooked by well known chefs compared to those overpriced places near Old Town square. It is currently showing Mucha’s epic Slav, the building itself is worth visiting, and probably the best...More

We went there primarily to see the art exhibition: «The Slav Epic» by Alfons Mucha. It was a great experience. And at the same time we could see the fascinating interior from The Jugend Period.

You can only enter the very first part - pay for everything else. Restaurant is not open access . Czech revolution?

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and

This is a typical concert hall. About 10 rows back, in the middle and you'll be very good indeed!
