We attended a concert in the Smetana Hall which was almost worth doing just to see the stunning art nouveau architecture of the Hall. The concert itself was excellent - a series of classical masterpieces played by the Prague Symphony Chamber Orchestra and demonstrating the...More

We saw a music show here, and while it was advertised as the symphony and it was truly only 8 people on stage, it was still a wonderful evening event. It's worth going early or staying late to check-out the restaurants and bars inside. One...More

The building is standing over Republic Square. Large corner style building with great preserved architecture. Unlike many of the gothic style older buildings this is light. Decor inside is excellent and well looked after. Feels over 100 years old

I don'think you often see something like this, the art nouveau itself in front of you, like it was new from outside and inside! You can spend a half an hour just exploring it's details, the colours, the ornament, simply a gem! Inside it's a...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

This is a typical concert hall. About 10 rows back, in the middle and you'll be very good indeed!
