Neighbourhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

    Beautiful synagogue
This is one of the most colorful, stunning synagogues that I've ever been in. The architecture is truly unique. Very different from the Jewish Quarter but definitely worth the visit. It's about 15-20 minutes from the Jewish tour area.

    Impressive synagogue
This was the first time I visited a synagogue and it was an unique experience. While the exterior was in the refurbishment process, it can be seen that its design is quite impressive. The interior is just mesmerizing, inspired by Moorish style and rich in beautiful and colorful details. Inside there is an exhibition regarding Jewish culture and community in Prague, educational and informative.

Spectacular temple with quite a history
Not near the Jewish Quarter - it's near Wenceslas Square or the train station. Spectacular example of Moorish architecture - even has some graphical patterns similar to the Alhambra embedded in the walls. Still active, so avoid visiting on Saturday. Yes, there is a fee, but there are full-time personnel on duty when it is open and they have to be paid for somehow. Panels outside the left side of the building as you enter tell the fascinating history of the place, which was opened in 1906 and served as a warehouse during the Nazi occupation of WW2. NOT named for the City of Jerusalem, but rather for the street it is on, which in turn was named for a church. Had an exhibit upstairs on the history of the many Jewish communities around Czechia, many of which date back to the 13th Century.

    Stunningly beautiful synagogue
Stunningly beautiful and historic synagogue in a beautiful city. Highly recommend a visit. I loved visiting the Spanish Synagogue too but I personally find this synagogue more unassuming and more beautiful. Plus they have a lot of information and a video on display. I learned from the synagogue info that Soviet antisemitism was rampant, and didn’t realise this.

    Jewish Prague
A wonderful temple, which reminds us of the Moorish style of Cordoba. Full of symbolic details, warm colors, and silence full of meaning. It also has an exhibition on the history of Prague's Jewish community.

Absolutely stunning building, you can’t not fall in love with its beauty. One of the most beautiful Synagogues in Europe.

They had an interesting exhibition inside, part related to the communism, especially highly recommended for those who are on the far left and far right spectrum, both spectrums are highly destructive and equally evil.

Visited in December it was cold outside and not much warmer inside. I think that this is an important place to visit when in Prague because of the history. It is a beautiful building. There is a lot of reading to do on the displays.
