One of the symbols of Prague, the Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn is the dominant feature in the Old Town. The church was built in the 14th century and used to be a primary place of worship for foreign merchants visiting the city.

Large gothic style church next to main square of Prague with no obvious entry. Quite Interesting inside, worth saving 15 minutes or so.

The impressive church is one of the major buildings around the Old Town Square. Entrance is free, so you should not miss the inside of the church, which is just as beautiful as the outside.

This church is beautiful in a very eccentric way. It looks like a medieval castle that should be guarded by a dragon. It is the most famous symbol of Prague, and it's right in the middle of Old Town Square, so you can't miss it!...More

Went inside to pray and the church is very beautiful. One of the most beautiful churches in Prague. Make sure to go inside.

As soon as you walk in you get the feeling as with many churches in Prague that recatholicisation was very much in mind when they were built. Very impressive, and oh no photos are allowed.

A beautiful church of 14th - 15th century in Pragues old town square. It's a magnificent construction that looks like it came out of a fairy tale at night! The lighting of the monument makes it breathtaking at night!

The structure is simply amazing. We saw it at night from the town square. It is so spectacular that it cannot be described by words. Although I took a picture, it is not reflective of actually being there. It just doesn't capture it. You simply...More

We were lucky enough to visit this church while the organist was playing. Beautiful experience as well as outstanding church altars.

It was good to hear the organ being played as Mass started on Sunday evening at 21.00. What a shame I couldn't play it!

Definitely one of the most beautiful monuments of Prague! By day, or by night, the view is impressive. You will be surprised the see the "Adam" and "Eve" towers (one is slightly thinner than the other). We happened to be on Prague's Old Town Square...More

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
