One of the symbols of Prague, the Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn is the dominant feature in the Old Town. The church was built in the 14th century and used to be a primary place of worship for foreign merchants visiting the city.

We bought tickets to a concert at the church and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing acoustics and with the pipe organ, concert master violin and opera soloist it was exactly what we hoped with the classical mastery! Highly recommended!
You cannot miss this impressive cathedral just off the old town square. Its asymmetrical towers are interesting; it is accessed through some alleyways.
There was no admission fee which was refreshing (donations appreciated). It is a beautiful interior and well worth a look.

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the
modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
