Huge park in Prague with a beer garden in the center which does very cheap beer and cider in plastic cups so you can take your drinks wherever you want to in the park. We went here both nights we were in Prague because it...More

We went up to the park one evening while in Prague. The trek up the steps was daunting but it was worth it for the views and the pints of beer at about 1 euro. Lots of action and people having fun.

This is a pleasant walk way with wonderful views of the river from the castle side of the city. It was also a bit cooler on a hot summer day to walk rather than the streets to return to the old town side.

Nice place to spend time. Walks are relaxing and the view of the city and the Vltava River is splendid. Sit or walk it is a good place to spend the day when hungry there are lots of food options too.

One edge of this park gives you great views of the city along the river. A nice area for a picnic when the weather is good. Take a look at the giant metronome, which replaced a statue of Stalin.
