This is a magnificent cathedral within the Prague Castle and is incredible both inside and outside. A guided tour is recommended as there is just so much fascinating history!

This place is beautiful but sometimes the queue could be really long. It is a very good advice to go through the side gate that usually has less people that the front entrance. Just one more thing, the cathedral closes at 16:00 so better go early beacuse it is worth it!.

The stained glass windows are a joy to behold. It's worth having a tour to learn about the many artefacts inside the cathedral. A must see if in Prague.

The Cathedral within Prague Castle is very impressive & has many magnificient stained glass windows with superb colours. It's easily accessed from the castle grounds & is definitely worth a visit while in the castle.

Wow! What a building! Absolutely stunning outside and inside. We bought a ticket so we could walk further inside and so glad we did. Some of the sculptures and stained glass windows are absolutely breathtaking. It was a very warm day outside, but inside the cathedral was very cold. There is some building work going on to the outside of... More

This place is stunning inside and out. Take a good camera as you will want to get some amazing pictures of the building and the windows inside.

I always loved to visit Prague, will never get tired of coming here. The surrounding architectures of Prague is like a disney cartoon that comes alive specially in winter. I enjoyed the creamy chocolate drinks, those twirly sweets, goulash and fine dining at reasonable prices. Warning: the people here are rude and discriminate but dont let that ruin your day.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
