Built in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV, this wonderful bridge over the Moldau River features 30 saints’ statues, 15 on each side. Especially notable is the bronze St. John of Nepomuk, with his halo of 5 gold stars, who was drowned...More

This is a beautiful, very characterful bridge. It is pedestrianised only so very safe to walk across with children. Great views of the castle and city.

This bridge joins the castle district & old town/Jewish quarter - King Charles IV statue is located on the latter side It’s pedestrian only & is always very busy. There’s vendors selling jewellery & art, plus musicians & buskers. Though it’s relatively safe, be mindful...More

This bridge is one of the most iconic things that stand out when thinking about Prague so I'd definitely recommend it! It connects the old town with the new town. All along the bridge on both sides are large religious statues that each have their...More

The bridge is a pretty nice sight. We went around 8:30 in the morning, and it was almost deserted. There was heavier traffic in the afternoon, but it was still light enough that you could take nice pictures without any wait.

The icon Charles Bridge connects the old and new towns of Prague. That is a bit of a misnomer as on both side of the bridge there is history in abundence. The bridge is lined with multiple religious statues associated with this great city and...More

This is a lovely bridge connecting the two parts of Prague. The statues are beautiful and very impressive that they have been there for so long. There are many street vendors and the view from the bridge is great, night and day time!

Prague is absolutely fantastic capital and it would not be so without Karluv Most. It is true that it is already overcrowded by tourists but still you should stand on this bridge once in your liftime)))

We've only been to Prague in May and their are usually some type of musical performers and artisans. However, it will be cold. I have heard that Wenceslas Square might have more performers during that time of year.
