The many statues on this bridge tell interesting stories, so it's entertaining as well as picturesque to casually stroll across the bridge. Rivers and bridges played a huge part in the history of Europe, and this one is no exception.

It's hard not to walk across Charles bridge when visiting Prague I loved the busyness of the stalls on the bridge and the views at the far end down the stairs leading to largest stalls selling refreshments and food. A really nice place.

Too crowed is an understatement. But it's a beauty and it's hardly avoidable in Prague as all roads lead to it. So don't avoid it, spend time on the statues especially those that do not attract the tourist's attention and enjoy being swarmed by fellow...More

This is a beautiful & historical bridge for pedestrians only. There were great street entertainments & local craftsmen & artists selling their works. Views from the bridge were spectacular!

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most
beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled
underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the
Kings route taken by future kings on their way to
coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing
Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral.
Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque
medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch

on the city side of the bridge, if you walk right in a straight line it'll take you to the docks :) there's a ticket stand on the main road, on another bridge.
How much should cab fare be from the airport to the center of Prague (Sheraton in New Town I think)?
