This is of course one of the photographic highlights of Prague. Charles Bridge is a footbridge only so crowds of tourists cross it daily to see attractions located on each bank including Prague Castle. A trip on a river boat can offer a good view...More

Lovely bridge with history. Plaques to read, entertainment going on, lovely views. Great during day but spectacular at night time when all lit up.

Even though it was a bit crowded, it was a time to think about all the events this one place, in the heart of Prague, had witnessed. People from around the world strolling about on a warm autumn afternoon reading the sculptures along the railing...More

Take a stroll over Charles Bridge not only during the day but also in the evening/during night, and you will have two different experiences. It’s like a fairytale!;)

A bit of a walk from our Hotel but worth taking in whilst in Prague. Very busy when getting onto the Bridge but more space once in the middle. Lots of statues dotted across the Bridge, pretty interesting & great views from the Bridge.

By day, it's impressive, but by night, it's spectacular. As with everywhere else in Prague, there are too many people and the crowds get in the way as you slowly shuffle across the bridge. Musicians perform on the bridge; a pretty girl played the flute,...More

This bridge is unbelievably beautiful. The statues line either side of the bridge. The architecture is stunning. It gets very busy on the bridge and at times you can feel like sardines. There are artists and jewellery sellers lined up. This is one of Prague’s...More

The bridge is pedestrianised and has a constant stream of people walking across it to the Lesser City. Statues line either side, including the one to unlucky St. John. Stopping to touch his memorial and make a wish is a must.

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most
beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled
underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the
Kings route taken by future kings on their way to
coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing
Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral.
Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque
medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch

We didn't go the restaurant near Charles bridge. We ate Italian at Old town square because after 7pm and we didn't want go look for the restaurant. It's up to you what would you like at pub, traditional czeck food or Italian.

on the city side of the bridge, if you walk right in a straight line it'll take you to the docks :) there's a ticket stand on the main road, on another bridge.
