An old clock is always good value. But it´s just a bit to hyped, and we are not the right people to enjoy street jugglers and jazz bands playing for all to hear whether they want to or not.

The crowds gather early for the hourly presentation. Construction blocked some of the clock spots. A guide can explain the characters.

Find a nice tall table at one of the restaurants across from the clock and order a drink to wait and enjoy the show. The clock itself is amazing and absolutely worth going to see but the large crowd of tour groups that gather in...More

The clock suffers from the same issue as a lot of other sights in Prague - a huge number of people, including tour groups who congregate in front of it and tend not to move on very fast. As an astrological clock it is quite...More

Lots of historic buildings in the surrounding area. Astronomical Clock - worth going to the tower as the view from the top of the clock is breath-taking.

The Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock is located in the middle old town in the city Prague, next to "The Old Town Square" it's pity now they are renovating the building, Don't see anything special!!

Join the crowds of onlookers as the Astronomical Clock nears the hour when the 12 apostles magically appear as the clock sounds each hour. Even after so many centuries, this clock remains one of the most visited sites in Prague

square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and

How much is it to enter the tower with the family of 4. What time do you suggest is best to be in the tower and see the hourly show. We are there from 1/7 to 5/7.
