Never tried absinthe before, so it was new to us. Great service, good music selection, interesting interior and quite a selection of absinthe. Sip slowly;-)

Absintherie is a must visit place for anyone wanting to try absinthe in the traditional czech way. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, the interiors are amazing. The staff is very good and gave great recommendations. Service was excellent. We loved the whole experience.

This bar stands out for the number of Absinthe options available. They offer a full bar but have over a 100 different Absinthe choices that can only lead to good decisions later. Fun place, tucked back in old Prague, enjoy the tour finding it.

Went here our last day in Czech. Never tried absinthe before and asked the friendly bartender what he would recommend. I don't remember the name, but it was local and served in a heated glass, straight up. Will return to try some more authentic tasting next time.

Such an awesome place. The atmosphere in there is very nice. The staff knows what they are doing and the service is very good. We went there all three days of our stay in Prague and we even bought some absinth to take home.

The bar looks cool with the green light and all the objects related to absinth. It's a little priecy but the service is friendly and the atmosphare is great.

We have tried Absinthe before but wanted to have a more "authentic" experience while in Prague. We stopped in on a Saturday night and luckily found two stools at the bar. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly all while explaining the process of different ways to try absinthe. She served us two ways...the Czech way and the French way.... More

Great offer of absinths and cocktails. Friendly stuff, nice atmosphere. You can buy souvenirs, like bottle of drink, magnets or cups with interesting motives. A little bit turistical, but worth drinking 😊😊😂

Don't miss this absinthe bar! A great place with really good staff! Here I tried absinthe from all over the world. And I fell in love with the French absinthe. Especially the Jade PF 1901. Bought a kit home, and now I'm really gonna get into it. Also if you visit during the summer, try the ice cream! It is... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
