Before you even walk inside, it is obvious that The Absintherie is a tourist trap of the first order. From the bright neon entrance to the cliched music and the souvenir t-shirts, nothing about this place screams 'subtle'. Strangely though, none of that stops you...More

I was very excited to visit, as I love absinthe. I was not disappointed, and was actually overwhelmed by all the options available. Friendly service and really nice vibe. If you are in the area - I recommend you pop in, if only for one...More

We found the Absintherie whilst wandering the streets of Prague. I love absinthe but my wife doesn't, so with a little persuasion we went in for on drink. I hadthe taster set of 4 absinthes whilst my wife ordered an absinthe zombie! Wow she loved...More

On holliday in Prague we went to the absintherie and asked for advice for choosing absinthe. We got great advice from a lady called Eva.

I definitely recommend getting distilled absinthe and experimenting with their ice cold water fountains to experience the real absinthe sensation. Quality of service varies...More

Great place to relax and have a conversation. Saturday night not very crowded but still good crowd. Variety of drinks but research the green fairy ahead of time...

The drinks were very nice and creative to watch when being made, but the staff themselves were unfriendly and didn't seem to want to help much, purely served me then carried on chatting to their friends...

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
