Very underwhelming. Few murals and very little chocolate to sample. Takes only a few minutes and isn't worth the price of admission.

In this place they make the chocolate fresh and you can see how they choose the coca row and they use it to make the chocolate bars, cubes ... etc. They have another corner to make the freshly candy. Also, they have waffles and crepe which are amazing and you can choose the chocolate type (milk, dark & white). It... More

Found the displays interesting, loved looking at the old advertisements and packaging for chocolate, I've been to the cadburys chocolate place in the UK before and Chocostory is just as good, but on a smaller scale. Friendly staff, tasty chocolate to try, really glad we went. Conveniently located off of the old town square.

The shop adjoined to the museum is great but we paid 270 koruna (about £10) to enter the museum and left disappointed. The advert promised an interesting museum and unlimited chocolate and as the shop below was so great we gave it a go. The museum however was very small and simple and not very interactive. The 'unlimited' chocolate consisted... More

The service for breakfast was completely disorganised between the two check outs, you'd think they were two completely different businesses. The variety was huge, overwhelming in fact. The hot chocolates were AMAZING but made from melted chocolate so you can't buy to take it home. The tour is tv documentaries, pictures & historic pieces. Although informative (I had no idea... The unlimited chocolate they advertise isn't quite true, although you can help yourself to different varieties of chocolate drops upstairs that showcase the difference in cocoa beans from different areas. You also get given some truffles to sample before going around the museum which is upstairs above the shop. The museum gives an oversight of chocolate from the mayan times... More

We dropped in on our last day here unbeknownst to us that the museum and demonstration was very similiar to one which we saw in Belgium last year. In summary, the museum will keep you interested for a few mins. The free chocoloate buttons certainly help. The 6mtr high chocolate waterfall is also an interesting quirk. The demonstration is cool... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
