My husband and I came upon this tavern at the bottom of the steps leading down from Prague Castle. On entering, the menu stated it has been serving customers daily since 1375. The decor is very rustic and authentic with animal skins on the walls,...More

We’d been recommended this place by a few people so stopped by for lunch and a drink. The drinks were nice and it’s a cool area to sit in though I think the atmosphere would be a lot better on an evening. The food was...More

We had only in mind to stop for a beer but got caught by the medieval ambience and stayed for dinner. This was surely a good and inexpensive choice, which warmly can be recommended to others.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
