Interesting but very overpriced as completed the museum within 5 minutes, would not recommend. Mildly interesting and good effects regarding sounds and lighting, would be spooked if I was 8.

Not to be confused with the Museum of Torture Instruments, this museum is at the East end of the Charles bridge. It's a relatively small place with three floors of exhibits, though I felt they had used the space well. Each piece has a description...More

Good display of the history of torture instruments. It was a grand museum. Been there once don't need to go again kind of places.

It only costs 150 kroner, and well worth the money. Yes, it's small, but it's well curated. The instruments of torture are truly horrific. Glad I wasn't around when these painful punishments were doled out. As a horror fan, I found this exhibition interesting. My...More

Visiting here is a good way to spend an hour. There are some interesting displays but I found the museum a bit overrated.

It was moving experience. It made me think of things to come, as the Lord said. All that will be repeated, only worse. It does not take much time to visit, for it has just a few items, comparing with other museums. But I advise...More

We went here on a whim as we passed. It's cheep and there is a lot to see. It is mainly just machines but it is a real eye opener. It's over a few floors so be prepared to walk.

This museum is interesting, but not amazing. The displays include many devices, but I am uncertain if these were actually used, or modern reproductions. Many images reproduced (relatively low quality) from postcards and books. The displays are divided on three floors, so you should be...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický

in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
