The cemetery, synagogue, and the square are all exaggerated. Nothing special to see, only a mediocre historical place.

The Old Jewish cemetery with its green mossed, en masse of tombstones a stark reminder of the history here. The synagogues are all easily walked and provide great insight into the Holocaust and medieval times.

An interesting area of Prague (just north of the Old Town) which can easily be visited in a morning or afternoon. We managed to see three quite different synagogues - the Old New, with its ancient interior and legend of the Golem; the Spanish Synagogue...More

Very interesting, great place to see part of Jewish culture and religion. I'm very glad to go there, especially Old Jewish Cemetery. If you have a chance, this is a must!

A short walk from the old town which you must go and see. Very different feel from old town with lots of synagogues and shops to see.

Beautiful, deeply moving. Must be visited, with or without a guide. We preferred the relative quiet of a visit on our own using our guide book to explain the history.

Or even if it isn’t, the Jewish Quarter of Prague is worth your time. We were there through a Viking Cruise Extension trip so we were on their tour and happened to have an excellent guide. It was a couple of weeks ago already and...More

We made a special effort to visit the Jewish Quarter of Prague more in depth than we saw on the walking tour of the city provided by our tour guide. Although she was very informative and in fact Jewish herself, we didn't have the opportunity...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

Martin tours do bus trips around Parague, and most of the buses pass through this area. Yuo can also just go to the Old Jewish Quarter, which is near the Old Town Square, and buy your tickets there. However, I'd suggest that... More
