Nova Louka is the street at the other side of Tepla river than Stara Louka, at its right bank. It is lined with beautiful houses as well as Stara Louka but it is much less comfortable for walk as sidewalks are narrow. At the other...More
We walk from our hotel to this place and itv surroundings. Weather was good too so it's nice to walk. Follow the river flows and you can find other interesting places. Don't forget to take picture at the bridge with Karlovy Vary sign.
It has nice cherry trees blooming along the side of the road in April.
We went in search of this street as Hitler was there on 4 October 1938 - leading his column through Nova Louka when he entered the Sudetenland.
