This is a beautiful square, surrounded by small shops and cafes. It provided a different feeling, as it offered a spacious view of the square as opposed to the narrow cobble-stoned streets. The Plague Column is worth a visit.
While the fountain is indeed in the middle of the square, this alone wasn’t the highlight for me. The highlight was siting on the fountain and imagining Hitler being here in person and Stalin’s tanks rumbling through the square. Puts a lot in perspective.
Around the lazy squere, the main squere of Cesky Krumlov.People of the city, and lot of tourists everytime are visiting this Column .Plague Column is one of the most beautiful in Europe, for me.I offer the visit to the Plague Column for everybody.
