This was a great little castle with amazing history attached (eg., Franz Ferdinand). It was very well kept/restored and preserved. The weaponry/armoury collection is fascinating (and I'm not particularly into weapons). This is definitely worth dropping by to see. It could easily pass as something...More

The castle itself is impressive on the hill. There was a concert going on on the grounds. There was a person teaching archery near the entrance after climbing up the hill. Lively and fun looking. The owner and his wife were assassinated in Sarajevo, the...More

Fabulous area around the Castle. 50 to park 2-300 to get on a tour and well worth the money compared to a lot of other places in the world. Try tour 2 first as this was good, long and lots to see. Ice cream was...More

It is a long ago since my wedding was happening here. Still having romantic moments in my mind when thinking of this castle. It is a hunting style castle you have to see if your are into European history of 18th-20th century,

Other than the turrets at the corner of the castle, the building itself looks more like a huge mansion than a castle. From a photography viewpoint, the view is just so so. The inside of the castle on the other hand is richly decorated. Things...More
