Many spots along road, gorgeous but need some chairs, no bathroom facilities. But great to stop for a few pictures. We had rough waters so there was no dry sand spots that day.

This beach is FABULOUS! If you are going to PR during COVID and in/around San Juan, this is just about 40 mins. away and is desolated! Park on the side of the road and walk to beach area. We were there over xmas break and pretty much h ad the entire beach to ourselves, maybe 3 other families and a woman with a dog. There are no police so you can just relax, hang out, sunbathe and swim. However, the waves are big! This beach is for experienced swimmers only. Major undertow so be very careful and do not go in unless you know how to swim. Highly recommend this beach especially while SJU area beaches are only open for exercise.

Beaches are now open only for people doing exercises, either swimming, volleyball, water aerobics etc. We got there very early and had the opportunity to get into the water and get some sun before 11am when the police got there and because of government rules got everyone out... when we got there it was just us... after 2 hours there there were like 20 people 😳 although everyone far from each other... I understand why they don’t want people just laying at the beach. Health of the country and my island come first... when we saw more people coming we decided to leave and then the police came by. 🥳🎉🎊 I suggest that if you do come, visit between 8-11am when the beach is empty! 🧜🏼‍♀️

Beautiful beach . Great for surfing with your buds, lock your doors and beware we had a stalker following us and he tried to grab my wife from the beach. We escaped unscathed thankfully. Stay close to the concrete ramp the surfers use and be on your toes. Look out for wild dogs as well.

We went to this beach just for a change of pace in beaches. After reading all the reviews about car jacking and theft, we parked our car in one of the off-road places where we could see the car from where we were on the beach. There was no one else on the beach but we had "rip tide current" so we didn't go in the water. This beach is a beautiful tropical sandy beach and I would recommend going.

We were with a group and they had discovered the beach the day before by accident. We drove down a 2 lane road that looked like we were in the jungle. We parked on the side of the road and walked through a few trees and there was one of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever been too. You have to be careful by the road, there was some glass in the sand. The colors in the water were so bright, vivid and clear. The beach was mostly deserted except for 2 couples far down from us. The sand was so thick that our feet sank down and it was hard to walk. The waves were not too bad, so we went into the ocean and had fun jumping in the waves. There were rocks down from us and when we went down there, we saw crabs and snails hanging on the rocks. It was a beautiful place

This beach is what you imagine when thinking about tropical island fantasies- beautiful sand beach with clear water and beautiful palm trees lining the shore. Best to go in the day time.

I have been to Los Tubos several times. Once we left at about 1PM and read in the newspaper the next day that two men drove in and (with guns) car jacked one of the visitors to the beach. I learned later from a policeman there is local gang activity. The beach is far from other activity, so visitor beware.

Absolutely stunning and serene beach but the current is strong ( especially December through March). Is a place to wonder at pristine beauty if this island. Not a good idea to go alone as it is out of sight and sound. Park right next to Road and choose area to soak up the peace. Swimming not really recommended when currents are strong.
