Overview
More
The Dingo Sanctuary is located between Sydney and Canberra and is home to thirty Dingoes who act as ambassadors for their species. The Dingo Sanctuary is an educational facility for all ages focused on the long-term preservation of Dingoes and seeking to inspire the nation to support the conservation of Australia's unique Native Dog. Tour times are 10am, 12pm or 2pm, by appointment only. Visitors will be given a tour with a Dingo Keeper in our tranquil surroundings, and are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch alongside the Dingoes. For those who seek a more hands-on experience, we offer the special 'Dingo Encounter' where visitors are able to enter an enclosure and visit a Dingo. Conditions apply. Call to book a tour today!

Beautiful place run by caring and informative volunteers. Entrance fees very cheap and affordable. Highlight is being able to actually pat a dingo. Attached to sanctuary is a wildlife park with emus, wallabies and kangaroos. Awesome family outing. Loved it.

Only 8km from the motorway. I'm not sure why the adjacent (but not affiliated) small Kangaroo wildlife park is not listed but if you need a motorway break, stop here. Kangas/emus are a voluntary gold coin at the little park run by volunteers. Dingos (on...More
