Nice and children friendly beach, the parking tends to be overcrowded in high season. Be there before 11 am and leave your car in a position that you can get when ever you want to:

Most probably you have seen pictures of this beach with the mushroom shaped sun umbrellas, the waves, the crystal water, the wagon beach-bar, the donkey… Well, this is the loud/young part of a nice setting that offers possibilities to all tastes as you walk away...More

When we asked our friends on Tenos where to swim on a windless day, the vote was unanimous: Kolimbithra in the north -for those familiar with Mykonos it's an equivalent of Panormo and Aghios Sostis. Anyhow, we went today and we had a marvelous time....More

yes, to me the best beach of Tinos with Pachia Ammos in the south. Coarse sand and shallow water. Unfortunately it can be enjoyed by sea bathers only when the meltemi is not blowing but then it is the joy of windsurfers. Nice idea the...More

Nice beach, clean sand, chairs and umbrellas available for reasonable fee. The water is outstanding here. The beach faces north, the west side has larger waves and the east side is more protected and the wave are minimal of you have smaller children.

Kolympithra beach in the north of Tinos island is really amazing !! It is a definite must when you visit the island to go there and there is also a very good fish tavern nearby that is worth visiting.

There was no surf on this beach when we visited it and this is not a surfing area. If you are a surfer go to the West Coast of Portugal
