Very nice walking route until we reach the waterfalls. The place where the falls are located is impressive with lush vegetation while the most daring dive into the cold waters. We were lucky because the pond was full of tadpoles. Visit early in the morning if you want to be alone as it is quite a popular attraction.

We had a wonderful walk between trees and creeping plants, passing on our way cats, a donkey and geese , having a continuous orchestra of birds. Once we got to the falls we relaxed and enjoyed the stillness and coolness of the place. A word of warning: these are not the Iceland falls nor the Iguassu. Don't expect anything mighty and huge but given the time of year (September), the heat, it was a nice way to stretch our legs and enjoy nature , not sweating too much.

Sorry to go against the grain, but when we visited in middle May 2018, there wasn't much water, I think if I had both taps running together in my bath there would be about the same flow of water.
It is a very pretty shaded walk and does actually have running water, which doesn't happen very often on Andros. However make sure you keep your eyes to the left when walking up and right when coming back down, the old stone wall that forms one side of the path is covered in pipes, that take the water from the falls to fill the water tanks of local houses.
It is a nice walk and would be worth doing on a very hot day as the trees and water make it a cool place to walk.

Just 1km walking from the village of Apoikia, via a very easy path. It features a small waterfall and some ponds that you may relax by. We hiked there from Chora (Andros Route 2), and it was amazing. We also practised some yoga poses at this beatiful and calm location.

We visited on a windy day in the effort to get away from the coast. After a short and reasonably easy 10 minute walk we got to the waterfalls. They are not huge but very lovely and in a peaceful and sheltered area.

Mostly dry but still beautiful.
Easy walk to the start of the waterfall and enough water for a small swim (if you don't mind the shallow water).
We climbed up the stream and found some beautiful venture points.

Beautiful. Unique, Waterfalls, Small lake. Traditional path to get there. Full of trees and plants. You forget that you're in the Cyclades.

Went in July to find the waterfalls was more of a drip into a tiny stagnant puddle at the bottom, wasn’t worth the drive or short drive.
