This small grassy park is an excellent vantage point with beautiful views of Sydney, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The McMahons point ferry is an easy way to get there but it is also well-serviced by buses. The park itself is made up of the Henry Lawson Reserve, Blues Point Reserve with a playground and a short shoreline walking track that will take you back to Blues Point Rd.

Beautiful place to sit and unwind especially at night.
We can sit here for hours whether to have a picnic or fish the night away.
Recommended place to visit in Sydney.

Was lucky enough to be staying very close to Blues Point Reserve.
Catch the ferry to McMahons Point or even better walk over the bridge and past Luna Park and visit Wendy's secret garden as you stroll around to the point.
Great views of the harbour with the Opera house and Bridge can't be beaten.
If you have time walk a little further to Sawmillers walk it is well worth the effort.

Blues Point Reserve is a terrific spot for a day out, or at least a couple of hours of carefree good time out! It's a good spot for a family with young children to play and a good area for a picnic. The views are wonderful of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and much more. It's about ten to fifteen minutes walk from North Sydney train station. It's better to get the train, or a bus if you wish, rather than driving, as car parking is not really very easy to find.

This is a go to place for our visitors to Sydney as they get to see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in one go without heading into the city especially if pressed for time. There is 1/2 parking spots available so you can stop to take a quick photo. There is currently a bit of work going on so the view is a little bit obstructed on the side. We visited on a day where it was hazy due to the bushfires so not the best blue sky view nevertheless our visitors were pleased that they could take some photos and view our beautiful city icons which are known all over the world!

For a different perspective on the harbour, a visit to Blues Point Reserve is a good option - the Opera House and Harbour Bridge providing a great backdrop. Unfortunately there's some disruption to the area (at the nearby Henry Lawson Reserve), with the excavation for the new Metro train tunnel - albeit does impact the view.

Good vantage point for visitors to see the Sydney skyline and landmarks but the disruption of the new metro rail construction has an impact on enjoying it for what it is ... hopefully the works can be done for n time to return this peaceful viewpoint back to its best

This is the perfect place to get an up-close view of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

This is the best spot to watch the fireworks BUT you have to catch a spot in very early morning, otherwise it is quite difficult to find one, and all day sitting there doing nothing is very boring.
