Full of history with the bullring, the bull statue and the horse drawn carriages.

I do not support the idea of bullfighting so did not pay to visit the bullring. However, the Plaza is colourful, has lovely gardens and access to the walks and views. There are... read more

This the first place we ended up after disembarking the bus: nice but too overcrowded, here is also Plaza de Toros. But here is the tourist info point and I'd suggest to pass by to pick up the city map and get an advice what and how to visit. It is very helpful especially if you have only some hours... More

The plaza is in a good location, just before the new bridge. With benches around one can take a seat after all that walking in town centre or standing admiring the gorge. We strolled around here after lunch and had a look at all the souvenir shop, also, we visited a bit of the bullfighting arena not far from here.... More

The same old same old offering of souvenir shops, coffee shops, ice cream sellers. Even the resturants serving tapas seemed to have been purchased from the same bulk supplier

Pleasant little square with the bridge as a perfect backdrop. The parador hotel is a stunning old building along one side of the square with the full traditional flag array to make it feel like old world Spain.

Just before the bridge over the gorge. Place where tourists congregate. The parador is right there, but then again so is McDonald's.

History of bull fighting on display. Very well preserved piece of history and plenty of photo ops . You must have a photo taken standing in the middle of the ring

Very busy little square with the very best ice cream shop! One 4 star hotel and lots of shops selling the usual ceramics. I particularly liked one shop where mats, bowls etc were made locally...always good to see. In fact, many goods were made in Spain which helps the local economy rather than cheapskate imports branded with Spanish names. Access... More
