we came here on our Ubud day drip to see the traditional Bali Barong Dance. It was very interesting to watch and get to know the culture in this way. It was a long dance which was great and it kept us entertained. Had some dramatic scenes, action, happiness and laughter so it was great. We also got a picture here with a frame which was cheap and the photo was lovely!

This is a place I would recommend for anyone visiting Bali to visit/see. I learned a lot, and you will too. Make sure you dress appropriately (you can buy covering when you get there) but your lower body must be covered up as a respectful measure. This does include men and women.

We were given, for a small fee, a sarong to wear to visit this temple. The temple is so detailed and beautiful. We visited on a very hot day. We would have spent more time if not for the heat.

Bought tickets for this show. Fantastic large troupe and the fire trance dance was amazing too. Slightly out of town but really worth it.

Our guide was so helpful in explaining all the buildings and traditions to us that it helped to bring the place alive for us
We also had to hire a sarong via a donation to the temple even though we had long trousers on

We went here as part of a private taxi trip.
It does get very busy so get a good seat. Its not for everyone and the story can be difficult to follow as they give you a sheet with whats happening on it.
Good to see some traditional dancing

There are plenty of tourists when we visited. You have to wear a sarong before going in. which is a form of dress code. There's a 10,000 Rupiah entrance fee. Our tour guide told us that it's a form of donation only but the person in-chagre asked us to pay. Hahaha. it's not a big amount of money though and the money will go to the temple. The ancient architecture of the temple is beautiful. The details of the structures are perfect and unique. We saw the caretaker of the temple, who is a resident in the village, preparing the offerings.

A very serene place to visit. We were there late in the day, so there were no shows and only a few other people.
Entry fee was a donation.
They had serongs for people to wear, so as to cover ones knees, as a sign of respect.
There are many shrines, alcoves, buildings, statues, enclosures and artwork.
Well worth the visit.
