Getting in the water will take nerves of steel as the slippery and jagged rocks will be no ally when you attempt to battle the surf to get past the granite beach. But if you are brave and agile enough you will be emerged into...More

The beach was clean and uncrowded. The lunch stand by the entrance rents snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. if you don't have your own.

This is a beautiful beach, and an amazing spot to watch surfers tame the waves. My husband and I came here a couple of times to just watch them do their thing, and to admire the setting sun.

Great place to relax and watch surfers! The beach was clean and easy to walk - although getting into the surf wasn't easy due to some ledge and rocks.

We got lucky. It was wavy and sandy for days according to other people there, but the day we went it was clear and without waves. What an incredible snorkeling experience! Best snorkeling I've ever done, including a snorkeling excursion in Culebra. There are coral...More

This is a spot where you can enter the water with safety for snorkelling - just look around to see where the easiest spot of entry is depending on the sea conditions and tide. One of the largest "forests" of elkhorn coral I have ever...More

A coral reef and a lovely beach. Great place to hang out and the crowds weren't plentiful so it was great. A lovely place to take a beer and watch the sun go down. Its different from up in the mountains!

go on a calm day and watch schools of plate sized blue fish (tang) swimming through the coral reef, eat a pinch on the beach. If you are lucky you may see a sea turtle. It's magical.

It is about a 5-8 minute drive. You need to go up the road on the south-side of Puntas (past the Red Flamboyant Restaurant). Then, make a right on 413. Follow the road down the winding hill. Tres Palmas will visible be on... More

Definitely not for beginners most times. Especially not in Winter months, the surf and currents are too strong for beginners.
