This quiet beach has some of the best snorkeling we have seen. I think the fish are used to people, so you can get very close to them.

Great place to relax or snorkle. Parking can be a challenge so either get there early or you may be able to park at the marina (mile marker 1.0) and walk the beautiful beach (300 yards?) to Tres Palmas.

We loved this beach and nearby Steps as well. Not a great swimming beach as it has a pounding surf this time of year. We watched the surfers and played in a tidal pool.

Have not snorkeled in a while....get pictures. .saw plenty of different types of fish....crabs on the rocks. Not a good place to take kids...lots of rocks to be careful of...

Definitely not for beginners most times. Especially not in Winter months, the surf and currents are too strong for beginners.
