This small museum will let you travel by mind within centuries as it represents the history of Skyros Island within milleniums starting from prohestorical times until late byzantine period.

Interesting insight into bygone years,definitely worth a visit while staying on Skyros. Also a nice little area to where to buy Skyrian art.

It is one of the smallest archeological museums i have ever visited. But is well organised and the lady there very willing to explain i think the most interesting was the representation of the traditional skyrian house

A great place to really steep yourself in the ancient history of Skyros. Loads of interesting pieces from Palamari. Beautiful jewellery in gold, delicate and intricate.
