Mouries is a name of a tree with a lot of leaves which covers the whole tavern. The food is very good and the staff is nice. It should be a mandatory stop during a holiday in Skyros.

Right beside a Skyrian horses farm it is the perfect choice if you are at the south area of the island. You can have delicious local meals and enjoy the breeze under the thick shade of the 'mouries' trees.

Visiting mouries farm was one of the summer highlights. My little one loved the horses and the horse riding.people there are very helpful and willing to explain you all about these bautiful creatures
