I would strongly recommend the hike to anyone. It is hands down one of the best hikes you can find in East Switzerland and, especially by walking all of the trail, you get to experience really beautiful sights and places.

It was a lovely hike on a sunny day. went with 3 kids age 5,6 and 8 and is totally doable, if kids are used to hike longer distances. we also had a swim in one of these lakes - cold but a great experience.

We went on the panoramaweg hiking. Honestly I am very disappointed by what this mountain resort has to offer. After arriving in Bad Ragaz by train, you only find the bus connection once an hour to the pizolbahn Talstatiton. The WC in the station even...More

I would say that this hike is for more experienced hikers - it took us almost 6 hours to complete, and in half of the route, we had to climb very steep roads. Beware that the ski-lifts close at 16.00 so you have to hurry...More

We drove to Pizolstrasse where there was plenty of parking right by the Pizolbahnen. We expected to pay for parking but all the meters were covered, not sure whether this is the norm for the summer. It was fairly busy, we queued for 20 mins...More

Our third trip to Switzerland....this is a real gem of a hike. Three gondola rides from Wangs to Pizolhutte. Two of the gondolas are open ski lift chairs. We had an absolutely gorgeous sun filled short-sleeve day all the way, but make sure if rain...More
