If you have time, I would suggest to stop by.The entrance is free but you will need to write down your... More

It's amazing to see such a grand structure at Brastagi considering this is an plantation area and majority of the locals here are Muslim and Christians.

Awesome architecture with a serene surrounding. Details artwork like carving on large wooden doors. There are souvenir shop that sells both religious and non religious items. Toilets available but road leading to this shrine and park needs lots of repair works and maintenance to be done. There are also lots of areas where you can pluck strawberries (of course, one... Very clean and beautiful. But nothing much to stay long. Had various Buddha storyboards inside but no explanation. I would say it is not really worth the time unless you come here to pray

There are also lots of Buddhist statues around and inside the temple. To get into the temple, you must remove your footwear. Seems like non-Buddhists are not allowed to get into. Inside... More

It is actually a buddha shrine and a park. The shrine only open in certain hours. Make sure about it first if you interested to visit the shrine, because when I went there, it was closed so I only explored the park. The park is perfect if you want to experience zen-like atmosphere. It was not a huge park, and... More
