    Perfect end to our holiday
After the car museum & prison visit for the son it was time for my treat! Had the tasting followed by a bottle of Rose and cheese platters. The tasting was great, enough info about the process but not too technical! 3 delicious wines to taste at a very reasonable price. We then had a lovely chill out with a bottle and food. Both delicious and again great value. Great views, wine & food made this the perfect end to our holiday

A wonderful stay in a special place
We were fortunate to enjoy one of the two beautifully appointed Airbnb's at the Wraxall Vineyard and were delighted we had chosen to stay for a couple of nights in such an idyllic location. The owners really have created a wonderful space to relax and decompress, with no expense spared to deliver luxurious accommodation in a perfect setting. We would have no hesitation staying at the Vineyard again as it ticks every box in providing a high-class staycation with the warmest of welcomes.

    Wonderful weekend
An amazing place to stay. We have just come back from a wonderful weekend staying at the vineyard in the Old Winery Cottage No 1. From the minute we walked into the cottage we were wowed, the cottage was stunning with no expense spared, beautifully designed and furnished. The extra touches made our stay very special, including the dog biscuits for our dog. Friday night we went to The View and was met by Helen, she was so welcoming, the stone based Pizzas we had, were the best we’ve ever tasted. Next day, we sat looking over the stunning views for the wine tasting, Emily was fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly, both the wine and food were delicious. Saturday night, we had ordered dinner in the fridge, which again was delicious. Thank you for a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend!

Hidden Gem, in the Somerset countryside, overlooking vines
Lovely little hidden gem. Great deli style food, served on platters, and all sourced locally. Service by enthusiastic, friendly and efficient staff, and with the owner's interaction giving info about the vineyard, the food and the wine. The wine is superb, and how lovely to sit overlooking the vines that produce it. The restaurant is informal in style, and looks out over the Levels, and for the fine weather there is a nice terrace. We can't wait to return.

The view from the restaurant is incredible ! The red onion and cheese tart was delicious ! The local wine was really good too. The owner was happy to chat with us and the atmosphere was very “laid back” It was a Mother’s Day treat and thoroughly enjoyable. Really hoping to go back before too long.😊

The vineyard is in a beautiful setting with the building overlooking the vines and countryside. We had booked a tasting which was really informative and delivered by the owner. She was very welcoming and provided great knowledge of the vineyard and the wines we sampled. We also booked the cheese and meat platter, which was one of the best we have had!it had an amazing selection of local produce and was really tasty. Would definitely recommend if in the area, and would happy visit again. Thankyou!

Initially had a really warm welcome from Emily who was so attentive serving our table with Hannah. Unfortunately the day was overshadowed by the very rude owner which made us feel so patronised and uncomfortable. The rest of the staff were lovely and so helpful, but even after trying to speak with the owner to tell her how she made us feel, she kept cutting our party leader off and interrupting whilst being incredibly rude to her as well. That behaviour cannot be recoverable by the rest of the staff who did their best but ultimately would not visit again.

We were a group of 4, 2 of us were Brits and we had with us our two friends from California, who are keen wine drinkers and have been to many vineyards back in California.

It was a great afternoon, the host was very knowledgeable and friendly during our tour and we all learned a great deal.

The wine tasting was very enjoyable and the "tastes" were very generous in size. We had a platter of great cheese, bread and charcuterie, which we would recommend.

The weather was not kind to us, but it didn't spoil the tour and our American friends got to enjoy a wine tour in the rain, which they hadn't experienced before!

We would all recommend this tour, whether it's raining or you have the sunshine, it's a very enjoyable afternoon!

This is obviously an embryonic enterprise and I have no doubt that their plans for the next few years will see them prosper. Clearly, the facilities are not there yet but nevertheless they are sufficiently “set up” to deliver a very informative and interesting tour and wine tasting. All provided by very nice and enthusiastic people. It is a little rustic but that adds to the charm in a way but you need good weather. Starting at £15 each for a tour and tasting, it is not bad value.

We tasted three wines: a sparkling white, a rose and a white wine all produced 100% from their own vines. The rose found favour with us but the other wines left us somewhat nonplussed. That said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you may decide otherwise. I thought the wine was expensive for the quality and whilst I can see that the vineyard is still developing, it’s not there yet to command these prices. They are not alone, a common problem with many British (English) Vineyards to find that balance. For all that, well worth a visit.
