Desipte the fact that we've visited a number of Roman sites in countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Morroco, Dougga still comes top of all. It's a massive area on a plateau overlooking the valley. From the ruins of various buildings and structures, you can...More

If you like Roman ruins, this is the place. Staggering, with beautiful country surrounds. I image it would bbq hellishly hot in summer, but in autumn is was near perfect.

It's a must see, once in a life time. The place is historical (167-169), imagine that. You can learn in silence about Roman Empire. Very inspiring place.

This Roman Ruin is an incredible heritage site in Tunisia. It's just amazing to see the preservation. It's about roughly 110 km from Tunis. The site is an excellent example of Roman/Byzantium life and governance. A wonderful experience. 5/5
