Groombridge Place has lovely walled gardens overlooking a 17th century moated manor house. The Enchanted Forest has something for all ages from Crusoe's World with its tree houses and rope bridge. The boardwalk also in the forest is a popular play area with its zip wire and rope swings. The giant tree swings are popular with young and old alike. Two birds of prey displays daily Tue to Sun and Bank Holiday Monday. Don't miss our famous Zedonk (half Zebra and half Donkey).

We used to come here all the time when our kids were small only a few years ago & we absolutely loved it! Visited in the theme of nostalgia today for our middle child's birthday and we were shocked! The "woods" look awful! Lots of areas cordoned off, everything looking tired and very shabby and a mere shadow of it's... More

We visited this park about 5 years ago and found it magical. We returned today and found it shabby, uncared for and nothing like it used to be, apart from the price of admission which was higher. Clearly basking in past glories, this place needs a real shake-up!

My girlfriend decided to take me on a visit to this place due to her having good memories from previous visits. The place in brief is a collection of gardens, playgrounds and themed structures featuring a canal boat and bird show. The place was a pleasant enough place to visit from it's amusing bird show and giant swings, but somewhat... More

We went on Sat 22 April for the first time, a bit worried by some of the reviews. We paid £30 for a family ticket, booked the day before with a 10% discount. Our kids are 7&8 and we are generally quite out-doorsy and like a good long walk and a nice garden. Groombridge Place was a mixed bag. The... More

We visited Groombridge Place with our 3 children. I would say we have mixed feelings about it all. The kids loved walking in the trees coming back to the entertainment area and enjoyed the swings for a spell. We have been before when the children were younger, our children our twins of 10 and a 13 year old. Whilst the... More

Extremely disappointing visit to a much loved venue in the past. Cafe and food very poor, toilets dirty and run by youngsters with no enthusiasm. We paid the peak season price for entry and boat, 5 adults, 1 teen and 1 baby. The gardens looked shabby, apart from the white garden with a good show of white tulips. The rest... More

My husband and I were very disappointed after our visit today! We arrived at about 11 after travelling 38 miles which totalled 1 hour and half travel time. We hung around the formal gardens until 12 so we could feed my two year old little boy....to our amazement they was not serving any hot food in the cafe. I say... More

i tell you without those people in alice in wonderland and the birdman it would of been a dull day. for the exorbitant price, without those 2 acts it would of been a glorified national trust day out, and a lot cheaper. maybe spend some of the patrons cash on doing the place up. my memories are of 2 wonderful... Easter visit to Groombridge was interesting. Alice from Wonderland and other characters were there acting out a story. They mixed with visitors having photos taken. Certainly added interest for my granddaughter. (Aged 5) The woods and gardens had lots to see. My Granddaughter loved these. We took a boat trip to the woods (paid extra) lots to see and do... More
