We had the chance to be welcomed in the winery after our visit to Kapsias cave. We tasted all the wines and bought some very unique and tasty wines.

This is a small family run concern which is totally organic. The whole family is passionate about producing good wines. The red wines in particular are lovely

Taken for a wine tasting and tour. It was a wonderful experience. Tatiana the founders daughter talked us through the wines. Her passion for the winery was abundant. The wines tasted fabulous. We left with a couple of bottles and feeling inspired. Highly recommended.

This winery is small but full of character! It is family owned and it is really inspirational to see what this family has accomplished in Greece throughout the economic crisis. Not only do they have interesting wines but they have also put lots of thought into the design of their winery, making it a very interesting place to visit. The hostess was lovely and the whole experience was wonderful overall.

It took us a while to find them but as soon as we arrived Tatiana welcomed us and (poor girl!) felt ever so sorry to make us wait as she was attending a group that reserved a visit. How could we disappointed about waiting when we had a glass of good wine in our hands? At the end f our tour, we were joined by another unexpected group and we all enjoyed our tasting with Tatiana, while eating an home made cheese bread. Definitely worth the wait!

A family business that put sustainability first. Gave us a lovely personal explanation of their approach to wine making - has convinced me to look for more organic wines. Managed to bring a bottle of their Moschofilero back to UK - Arcadia in a bottle !

If you are wondering around Arkadia region of Pelloponese, just visit Kalogris' Winery.
We are talking about a family winery, where you can pass across the family's kitchen to go to the cellars.
The two daughters, Sandy (Kyriaki) & Tatiana (Tatiani), are welcoming you with such a smile, that's no surprise that the two best wines are named after them (my personal best is the semi-dry rose "Moschofilero" Tatiani).
Tatiana, will tell you all about the winery's history, in a beautifully decorated room. After that, mr. Kalogris is waiting for you to taste the wines, like a host welcoming his friends in his living room.
The wine??? Pure perfection. Biological and full of flavors, will get you in a biiiiiiig dilemma of which one is better.
Just to let you know; this is a family enterprise. So, the wine is bottled in small batches... Don't you leave without buying a bottle at least (the prices are very good, too)!!!

nice little winery, the staff (actually the owners) are very friendly and willing to share their story with you. A good selection of organic wines, which you cannot find in the shops! don;t expect a big tour just some family staff lined up.

Although the winery was meant to be closed a telephone enquiry from our group of 8 cyclists produced a fantastic welcome. After an interesting talk on the wines and the family's philosophy we settled down to sample a delicious cheese 'pie' while we tasted this year's range of organic wines made from moschofilero, merlot and cabernet grapes. Tatiana could not have been more friendly and informative. We wish them well - and the wines are very reasonably priced for their quality. We cycled away with as much of a selection as we could carry - sadly but deliberately none of them made it back onto our return flight!
