It's to the credit of the local & provincial bodies that this Castle was restored to it's current state although disappointing that instead of providing multi-language information they chose to dot the skeleton with bizarre, & to my mind, unnecessary & weird pieces of sculpture....More

Nicely paved for visitors, but for wheelchairs only limited accessible. Must have been nice in the past, overlooking the river Duero, but now just some stones.

Really enjoyed our walk around this castle. Zamora is quiet at this time of the year so were the only visitors at the time.

Free to enter. Gives great views and interesting to visit and study. Spotlessly clean around the whole area and a pleasure to enjoy the peaceful surrounds.

The Castillo de Zamora is at the end of an historical walk in Zamora the castle is average but from the tower is a great view enter is free.
