The location of this pebbly beach is beautiful and precious and the water is clean, lovely for a swim. However, if you are searching for sandy beaches, Playa Perdossa is 2km away and caters better for this.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay in the Cala montjoi holiday village. The accommodation is very basic and the bathroom really needed updating. However we only slept in the bungalow so spent little time there. It's a very short stroll to the...More

This is one of the nicest and prettiest coves along this part of the Costa Brava and due to a relatively isolated location some distance from town it is not as crowded as many of the other beaches.

This is one of the most unspoilt areas of coast left on the Costa Brava. This is how you imagine Spain one hundred years ago. If you can track down to the beaches in this area you will find something almost unique these days. Wild,...More

A windy road down to a pretty bay, but a very gritty beach. There are prettier bays to visit. A very nice bar selling only drinks and ice cream.

Accessed via a narrow road north of Roses, you arrive to Cala Montjoi to a clean and scenic pebbled beach. We ate a simple and delicious lunch in the "chiringuito" on the beach. The empty El Bulli stands over the south end of the cala....More
