Very moving service as the sun came up. A little contribution from the local magpies as usual but they didnt have much to say this year. Must have been a few thousand gathered to show their respects for the fallen.

Great memorial to our fallen diggers. Very informative interactive site as we listened to the descriptions of the diggers trials during war. As we walked around the memorial it was very moving and I was pleased to have taken the time to visit this site.

Not much to say about this but they have done it well. The day we were there a lone piper was playing. Very fitting. Nice monument and a nice touch for the fallen.

The park/memorial is very peaceful and tastefully created, taking in all of Australia's conflicts (even pre-1901) to the present.

Travelled past this memorial while on the Mandurah Cruises trip this morning. Prior to the captain explaining what the concrete pillars represented I had no idea. When he explained the memorial I felt an immediate affinity with the structure and what it represented. The concrete...More
