This beach is nice, but not my favourite. There is a lot of dry bamboo on the beach. If you love picking up shells, this is the place to go.

A clean beach with changing facilities close by. There is also a pub there and snack facilities. From the beach there is access to some great walks and picnic tables with great views.

Nothing says Albany more than a stroll along the beach , a walk along the boardwalk , maybe catch a fish or two from the jetty. Children's playground and cafe at hands reach . Well protected from the elements . Top spot

This beach is a lovely local spot that’s close to city centre and is easily accessed. Weather makes it not ideal for swimming in winter but in summer it is a lovely sheltered spot for swimming and has a shark net. Toilet and showering facilities...More

We took an early morning walk along the Middleton Beach Boardwalk. This took us past Ellen Cove and around passed King Georges Sound to the Harbour. The walk was very pleasant and got my heart rate up a little on the undulating pathway, mind you...More

A lovely beach peaceful beach with beautiful clear water. The kids enjoyed looking for the different shells on the beach but the seaweed can be a bit of a pain. There were heaps of it on the shoreline adding a stench to the beach. Easy...More

Hi I was there middle of summer there are better places for snorkeling e.g. elephant rocks near denmark. this is a more open water beach and you are not going to see much not protected enough

The Ellen Cove Broadwalk follows the coastline from Middleton Beach all the way into the Albany Port in town. Access by foot or by bicycle is reasonably good. It's roughly 6km.
