Dairy farmers Julian and Dianne Benson launched Apostle Whey Cheese on October 29, 2005. Since that day, Apostle Whey Cheese has taken out a number of major cheese awards and become an important tourism drawcard for the region. Just a short drive from the Twelve Apostles and the Great Ocean Road, Apostle Whey Cheese is a genuine paddock to plate operation.

Enjoyed our cheese tasting and the staff were friendly but lacked training. When we asked if a certain cheese was good for use in cooking we were told it was "nice grilled". Not any real sense that there was any thought about other uses for...More

The cheeses here were very nice. Sales people knowledgable about their product. We had a delicious cheese platter and took home some cheeses too.

Awesome selection of cheeses, amazing tastes. My favourite is the garlic havarti cheese. They are all simply divine though. Quality cheese which is worth the extra cost. Great little stop if you love cheese and you're travelling along the great ocean road.

The cheese was really yum! It's a free tasting so you can't go wrong really! They have cheese and gelato all made fresh from the cows you see outside so it's different but something you have to do near the great ocean road
