A very pretty inlet, foreshore area and pier.

If you are doing the Great Ocean Road this little town is well worth a stop to stretch your legs. There are some little shops, a useful little tourist info centre and this pretty foreshore area.

It's worth it to walk down to the pier and back and then along the verdant grass above the beach itself. A great place to sit and ponder existence.

Absolutely stop here for a picnic, whether home packed or take away from a local eatery. Very nice foreshore to watch the waves and relax.

Port Campbell beach is one of the few beaches along the Great Ocean Road that is safe for swimming. There is a grassed area with some picnic tables as well as the sea wall which makes for good seating! There are picnic tables under the shade of Norfolk Pines.

Sandy beach combines with rough towering cliffs surrounding the bay. Absolutely worth stopping and seeing, and if it’s warm, it would be an amazing place for a quick swim.

Lovely beach with plenty of grass area for sitting back watch the waves come in.
The beach area is small but OK for a quick dip.

Visited in early days of cool Spring.
Excellent month to witness the power of waves rising from Southern ocean.
Port Campbell foreshore holds a magnificent view, even if often windy.
Set of public tables on grass at top of rock wall make for splendid picnicking.

The small harbour at Port Campbell is picturesque and the beach pleasant and the jetty which has some history is interesting. Overall a very pleasant small town and area.

Pretty, well maintained foreshore great for picnics. Plenty of parking and room to spread out, would be packed in the Summer. Nice walk along beach, to town, or out to the little jetty. Good place to take a break from driving. and have a rest.

My wife and I stopped here to have lunch, during our drive from Lorne to Peterborough, as part of our holiday along The Great Ocean Road for three nights.

This was our second visit to this small coastal town. We walked around the town and The Jetty to enjoy the scenery.
