Decided to go somewhere different, and after a few minutes drive down Garvey track we arrived at Sheoaks car park. Pleasantly surprised to find very clean portaloos. We walked the 6km round trip to Lower Kalimantan Falls and back. The walk is not too technical,...More

Lower Kalimna Falls is one of my favourite waterfall to visit. Located in Sheoak Pinic Area, about 3-4 km out of Lorne, follow the dirt road from QDOS Art Gallery and you will get to Sheoak Picnic Area. The walk is about 45-50 minutes to...More

We were lucky to visit the falls after the area had a little bit of rain. Very pretty but better after some rain.

The walk was shockingly muddy so we were very slow and the amount of times we almost slipped (once I did fall) but the end result the lower kalimna falls made for a beautiful photo

The walk to the Kalimna falls is just as good as any walk in the area. We were recommended the walk by volunteers and the visitor centre because it is a very easy walk that almost anyone would be able to complete with little or...More

The signage states to park in the Sheoak car park. If you drive on another 2km then there is a sign on the right to the falls & the route is a lot shorter to walk. We did the upper falls first, They are OK...More

It is accessible but it is a distance of a walk so you may need to carry them some of the way. For a more family friendly location try Stevensons Falls
