We booked this tour because we hadn't self transport. The tour it self was a bit boring. We have been to many wildlife parks so this one wasn't special. If you haven't be to one then it is really nice. We havent been to the chocolate factory. You have to pay for that extra. We went to a nice beach... More

There are 2 different timings of this trip from Melbourne which is very important to know. One starts at 1 pm and takes to Koala park and Noby's rock, other starts at 5 pm and shows glimpse of Noby's rock, but both return at the same time after penguin show, rightly known as penguin parade.Return bus from Philip island starts between 9-30 to... My daughter and I had to attend a conference in Melbourne on the weekend, so we flew into Melbourne around lunch time, caught the bus at 4pm out to Phillip Island, and had bought the tour with the Penguin Viewing Platform as my daughter has a slight visual impairment. She STILL talks about it. We got back to our hotel... More

Great service and excellent bus-driver David. The Penguin Parade absolutely caught me. Watching the smallest penguins in the world make their way back home from the sea. Beautiful little penguins, fragile animals but strong to get back home and looking after their chicks.

We booked our PI tour with Melbourne Australia Tours but they cancelled it since it did not meet the minimum number for the tour. They referred us to Autopia Tours who took us in willingly. Our driver was Steve G. who was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the different places we visited. In fact, when one of the members of... More

They get you into the right places without the wait without having to do any research. Leaving on time & getting back about 3 hours after dark - if you go in daylight savings its a late return. Great for solo travellers or groups that can't decide who should drive & miss the scenery.

This entire trip is completely worthwhile. The drive to Phillip Island is on a fantastic coach, that makes the journey easy and enjoyable. The Penguin Parade absolutely blew me away. Watching the smallest penguins in the world make their way home from the sea was absolutely magical. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

This was organisational chaos. Having emailed the tour company prior to leaving the UK and telephoning them on the morning of the trip to finalise a pick up time from the hotel, they failed to turn up. Only urgent phone calls and quick thinking by hotel reception staff got us to Federation Square to meet the bus. Annoyingly the bus... More
