A short drive from Colac this is a lookout that helps understand the history of the district. From here it is a pleasant trip to Beeac where there is a windmill exhibit and then complete the round trip back tp Colac

Red Rock is about 11 KM from the highway as you enter Colac and it is worth a visit and has a large nukber of old volcanoes and great scenery.

We were there while the sun shone so got an excellent view of the many craters in the area. At the main lookout is a panorama map listing many of the surrounding features including other cones within view

Definetly a spot worth checking out. The seemingly endless views from the lookouts are amazing. Best time of day is late afternoon to see the shadows come across the craters. A good bitumen road leads up to the top and Red Rock lookout has enough...More
