We saw the mural from across the lake and was so glad we investigated. What a magical structure! It took over 20 years to create and the community helped creat the ceramic tiles. Very reminiscent of Gaudi's Parc Guell in Barcelona Spain. You so must...More

23 years in the making and while on first glance it looked just interesting and something a bit different, it's possible to spend a bit of time there exploring the art work and there's plenty of places to pose with it! Some good photographic opportunities...More

Small neat well presented gallery which is worth a visit. Nice place to break your journey in very nice park surrounds. Especially nice when the roses are out.

We stopped by the river in Benalla to visit the tourist information centre and walked down to the Ceramic Mural by the river. It has been decorated by locals and a fun mural to walk, climb and play around.

The mural was very unexpected but is featured just next to the main bridge, opposite the Art Gallery and adjacent to the Visitor's Information Centre. It is good to look at and also to rest awhile and let the day pass by.

Situated alongside the visitors centre and right beside the river, it is a great spot for a sunny day picnic. We stopped for a picnic lunch and were blown away by the level of detail in this sculpture. You can sit, lay, walk and explore...More

An interesting mural or series of functional sculptures, incorporating a miniature amphitheatre. A nice place to bring kids to explore and climb over. For me, having been in Barcelona recently, the influence, or perhaps coincidence, with the famous works of the Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi...More

We've often driven by without stopping-I'm pleased we did this time. A lady sort of attached herself to us nearby and gave us her guided tour telling us it was created by hippies and now the shire council is responsible for its upkeep. Whatever, it's...More

An extremely interesting structure, to fully appreciate the Mural pick up information from the Information Centre then spend time looking at every nook and cranny. It is quite amazing!

So much detail has gone into this interactive work of art. Great for kids to play on, parents to visit and look at all the different colours, patterns, sculptural pieces and be amazed at how well everything fits and works well together. Should be more...More
